'Rum'

Rum is a filly that we met when we travelled to Europe in 2019.  We visited one of the largest breeders who has many national champions to their name.  Rum was in a group of weanling fillies that the breeder was planning to retain, as she was the daughter of a 20+ year old mare and the breeder wasn't sure if they would have another filly out of her.  In 2020, we got a message from one of our friends in Belgium that the mare had, in fact, produced another filly and Rum was available for export.  A blue roan filly out of an old, proven mare who has demonstrated her health and fertility- bringing her home was a no-brainer!
