Cookie is the very first filly we retained out of buckskin stallion RGR Boondock Saint.  At the time, Boone was owned by a fellow Gypsy breeder in Michigan who we had followed for a long time.  He seemed to be a perfect pairing for our heavy, traditional mare Tipsy so we hauled her up to Michigan for a breeding.  I had my fingers crossed for a solid buckskin stud colt but instead got a lovely tobiano filly, who we retained.  It all worked out as Boone's owner knew how much we loved him and offered us the chance to buy him a couple of years later!
