Sequoia may not be a Brabant (although she was approved as a broodmare by the ABA) but as Dehan's first horse she holds a special place in our hearts.  She came to us in 2011 and Dehan spent all his free time teaching her to ride and drive.  In 2012 she surprised us with our first ever foal, after months of attributing her large belly to being a draft horse!  Sequoia is an old-style Percheron mare, built to work and with a solid mind.  She is a valued member of our logging team and produces lovely foals no mattter what she is bred to.
